The TES Affiliate Conference is not only a great conference that allows you to look at the affiliate marketing market and the vertical in general a little bit wider, but it is also a powerful network of diverse people who are constantly looking for opportunities, developing, and can give you a lot of interesting and useful advice. It was also a lot of fun and a positive atmosphere. This time, the conference was held in one of the most magnificent cities in Spain – Seville, whose cultural heritage is impressive. We talked to our colleagues who attended the TES Affiliate Conference and asked them about their impressions of the conference.
The main areas of TES are Adult & Dating verticals. Although these are not the verticals that SalesDoubler works with, it was interesting to listen to people from this market, as the most advanced approaches often come from these verticals. Therefore, we listened and wrote down ideas, made useful contacts, and found potential partners or those who could help us with this. I believe that the TES Conferences series is important for the affiliate community as this conference brings many people together.

The atmosphere of the TES Affiliate Conference
The TES Affiliate Conference is a more niche event in affiliate marketing than large-scale conferences like AWC. However, this atmosphere makes this event unique, as most participants know each other well, making communication relaxed and productive. The conference creates ideal conditions for establishing new partnerships, sharing experiences, and simply friendly communication with colleagues.
I would say that the atmosphere here is somewhat ‘family-like’. But I mean that most people here know each other, and that’s really cool because these events are an opportunity to communicate with colleagues, acquaintances, and friends in the market. The atmosphere of positivity and really different opportunities was definitely present. There were three main days, which felt like non-stop. Also, TES Conferences is written in the plural because it is essentially a conference and several different meetups from different networks that are part of this period. They organise both business meetings and various afterparties for their partners.

The atmosphere at TES was dynamic, intense, and full of energy. The event brought together professionals, enthusiasts, and beginners in the CPA marketing field. There was a great business networking atmosphere and easy communication in the hall. Everyone exchanged contacts and insights about new traffic sources, advertising strategies, and other industry tricks.

The TES Affiliate Conference Visitors
Nowadays, many conferences use apps for easier communication. This way, you can quickly find a partner and a client or determine how many competitors are presenting their products at the conference. The location was quite wide, and there was enough space for everyone. There were no crowds, which added a certain comfort, but it also added a certain scale.
More than 1600 people were represented in the official mobile application of the conference, and the event was also quite well attended. There was enough communication. Also, there were quite a few Ukrainians, and it turned out that our people are also quite good in these verticals.

There were about 2,000 people, but attendance was falling every day. Of course, this is due to the afterparty (laughs), but how could we do without it? The strongest ones made it to the last day, and as a bonus, we closed the official part of the conference with delicious champagne. Different people, different languages, different nationalities—affiliate marketing is what united everyone.

Expectations vs reality
Our team went to the TES Affiliate Conference for new experiences and impressions. They saw and heard a lot of new things about different verticals. Despite the fact that they are not represented in SalesDoubler’s arsenal, this is new information that professionals should know because it all relates to affiliate marketing and is, therefore, useful for our team. We asked our team about expectations and unexpected moments of the conference.
In general, the conference met expectations, because we found a number of potential partners among advertisers and networks with whom we can cooperate in specific areas. There is a fairly tangible list of potential affiliates who would be interested in testing our affiliate programmes.

Even though the conference was not about our verticals, we still managed to catch the contacts of potential partners. Of course, this task was ‘with an asterisk’, but the pool of partners is already waiting for proposals in the PDL, E-commerce, and Crypto verticals. Expertise is definitely an important trump card up our sleeve. Recommendations for pitching, connections, details of funnels, and a general description of working with a particular GEO. Calls are planned, and slots in Google Calendar are running out. This is what we consider successful networking at a conference. So, yes, the conference has paid off.
Kristina, SD affiliate manager
It was unexpected that the presentations here were not as trendy as classic networking. Even though there were people at the presentations, everyone wanted to communicate constantly.

The merchandise was unexpected (laughs). Although it was entirely in line with the conference theme, it did not leave me without a blush on my cheeks.

Key insights into the CPA market
This conference was an excellent platform for exploring new opportunities and directions. If the results are positive, SalesDoubler will be able to scale these successes.
In addition to contacts with potential partners among affiliates and advertisers, we have developed several hypotheses on how to work with a number of other partners with whom we have not worked before. If everything goes well, we can perhaps scale our results here by creating new partnerships after the tests.

Impressions of Spain
Spain is a beautiful country with a long history. Seville is the pearl of Andalusia and one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, captivating with its ancient architecture, medieval streets, and famous monuments. It is an ideal city for international events such as the TES Affiliate Conference, as its unique atmosphere inspires new ideas and productive meetings.
The impressions of Spain are incredibly cool. Seville is a wonderful place, although they say it’s better not to go in summer because of the temperature. The city is very beautiful. As my colleague used to say, every step you take is a photo for Instagram (laughs).

As the locals told us, we are very lucky. It doesn’t often rain in Seville and Spain, but we are lucky – 10 out of 10. In addition to rain, we have seen hail. Therefore, we recommend always having an umbrella or raincoat ready, no matter how rainy this country is. We looked at our watches and smartphones and realised we had walked 83.8 kilometres in this beautiful city.

Seville is a charming city in the south of Spain that is impressive because of its rich history, architecture, and atmosphere. The old town’s narrow streets, the majestic cathedral with the Giralda bell tower, and the magnificent Alcazar Palace create an unforgettable experience. You can feel the flamenco spirit here; the warm weather and the scent of orange trees add a unique charm. You can also enjoy the excellent local white and light red wines, which perfectly complement the Andalusian cuisine.

Everyone started learning Spanish because they didn’t speak English that much or just didn’t want to. Someone started with the phrase ‘Una cerveza por favor’ (translated as ‘one beer, please’ – editor’s note). For better adaptation, we adapted our names: Ivan > Juan, Kristina > Chris, Serhiy > Sergio. It was even more fun that way.

What recommendations can you give to affiliates and partners after this conference?
This year has been a marathon of conferences, meetups, and exhibitions for the SalesDoubler team. Each event brings us new contacts and partnerships, invaluable experience, inspiration, and innovative ideas that help us improve our work and move forward. We are always open to sharing knowledge, ready to learn from the best, and willing to implement new strategies that make us more effective. Open communication and a willingness to absorb new things allow SalesDoubler to grow and expand its horizons constantly.
Network, network, and network again – this is a mandatory element of life in the affiliate marketing niche. If you have the opportunity, travel to conferences, look for what you need, and work systematically, and everything will work out.
Serhiy, SD Developer
We highly recommend attending arbitrage conferences to establish valuable contacts, gain fresh insights from industry leaders, and be the first to learn about new tools and trends. This conference is also where you can find exclusive offers, be inspired by successful cases, and improve your practical skills.
